Today felt like any other day, trapped in Silence's head. He was beyond exhausted but Silas didn't think he was going hunting tonight anyway. Besides the first time in his entire life, he felt like sleep just wouldn't come. It was a rare occasion seeing him up and about during the day and yet because he wasn't used to the bright sun, Silas put o a set of sunglasses to hide away, which maybe helped to keep himself awake...maybe.
Equipped as always, he could feel every blade he placed on his body, there wasn't a day he went without a blade at his side. He could even say, he slept with a knife or two at his bedside, but that was his deep dark secret. Because of the warmth from the sun shining through the windows, Silas had to walk around with his trench coat slung on his arm, showing off the blades he carried on his biceps, triceps, a hint of a neck blade, and a few hidden at the belts.
Through the corriders, he yanked opened the huge oak doors to the cafeteria hall, notcing all the young and old hunters already at their breakfasts. Silas managed to smile at some old hunters who had to take a double look at Silas for either the gear he wore or he was up and awake. Everyone in the Core knew not to go banging on Silas' door during the day. Up to the food, Silas piled a plate of tomatoes, bananas, kiwi, carrots, a little scrambled egg in a separate small bowl, and toast. Before findign a table, he placed a bottle of water in one of his deep black jeans pockets, and grabbed a grapefruit juice can.
Finding an empty table, Silas' started his food. He smiled, looking at his choices, how Darion hated the way he ate, but Silas' loved it. He loved food. his favorites? Bananas and tomatoes. Pulling one of his wrist knives, Silas began to cut his his two bananas in small pieces, and his 2 tomatoes into slices. The kiwis were cut down, as well as the carrots. They were all in a mixed form, just the way Silas liked it. There was a brief moment, that Silas wondered if he should of woke up Darion. Today, Silence couldn't figure out why his mind was rcing with thoughts. He never woke up during the day. Silence rested his head on one of his palms, blade still in that hand pointing on, his expression just dazed.
Silence began to ate his mismatched breakfast slowly, wondering if he wanted to pull out his papers of his old parents, if it was even worth it. Why his parents gave him his two first names..why in hell was his parents trying to hide him. If they were his parents. Sighing heavily, he put his sunglasses down, wiping his dark blue eyes showing that he looked like he hasn't slept for at least 3 days. In a way, he knew he HASN'T hunted for a week...just quiet Silence around the Core.

As per any other day, Darion was up with the Sun. Today however, was a little different. After finishing his full work out for the the morning, he was heading into the bathroom when a sharp pain snapped through his skull bad enough to make him stumble. Pictures sharp, painfully clear pictures flew through his mind, like a movie stuck on fast forward. Dare grabbed the sick in the bathroom to keep himself from falling when his vision was over. One more stab in his brain and it was gone.
These ...VISIONS were becoming a problem. He rarely got them when he was younger, but since he was older, they've become more ...frequent. For the most part, he didn't mind them. The pain that came with them was the trouble. Every vision was so painful it was usually enough to jerk him out of whatever he was doing. Which, as a hunter, could be troublesome. Only Silas knew about the visions. And he didn't know much.
Shaking it off, Darion straightened up. There was nothing he could do about it but deal with it the best he could. He looked up like he was seeing the sky and sent a scornful look to the heavens before stripping and jumping in the shower. The hot water calmed him as it washed over his body, and he relaxed. He took his time in the shower and was running late for the morning. Dare didn't have a set schedule, but he disliked inaction. Dressing in his normal attire, black jeans and a wife beater, he armed himself with all his knives, putting them all in there hidden places. He carried more than some, but not a much as others. He smirked, like Silas. His brother definitely had a tendency to go to excess when it came to his weapons. Dare gave him crap about it regularly, but was glad he was so armed, since his brother ALSO had a tendency to get his ass into a lot of trouble.
Sighing, Darion pulled on a black hoodie, grabbed his trench and checked his boots. He opened his door and slid into the hallway. He was energized and he was HUNGRY. He reached the cafeteria in record time. When he pulled open the door was perplexed at what so many people were staring at. Then he saw him. " What the.." he broke off. Silas was here. And awake. And eating. There were so many things wrong with this picture, and he didn't like it. Like he was king of the day, Silas was king of the night. Sunlight made him sleepy and bitchy when he wasn't hunting. Hunger overruled curiosity, and Dare went straight for the food. His brother would wait.
" Good morning Silas. This is a nice surprise" He said with a smile when he sat next to him. It was worse than he thought. Silence looked like hell. Run over by a semi. He couldn't help but notice that he had been ...uncharacteristically HOME at night instead of hunting. Dare cringed when he saw what he was eating. Who the hell eats a banana with a tomato?? He liked REAL food, he thought looking at his plates. Blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, bacon, egg and cheese biscuts. This was REAL food. He dug in and ate ravenously. Dare knew to be patient. Silas would tell him what was up when he was ready and not before. So he settled for teasing him again.
"To what do we owe this great honor, my brother?" Dare slapped him in the shoulder loudly and watched amused as some of the tomatoes dripped onto the floor.
((Ok. GAH. First post in ....longer than I care to admit. I hope you can do something with it! ))

It was strange that Silas was here, he had to ignore all the stares from the old hunters. Though these THOUGHTS were not gonna go away and frankly Silas had much better things to do than sit and looked like his cat got ran over by a car. He had to go after the Twins, a few old vampires who were slaughtering more innocents than they can chew. Silas knew he should of went hunting yesterday to track some of those old vampires down but sleep wouldn't come more so in the evening. He had been laying in bed all night and frankly shut himself out from all the hunters, yes including Dare.
Silas never had the emotion of depression. He was always so upbeat, even when his lovely Misty was around. She was so beautiful, the way she spoke to others of Wicked End, and yet how he yelled at her that he was a "fucking moron". He loved even those small outbursts, but knew in the end, his would take anything just to talk to her...even if he would be called an idiot, moron and a nutcase at the things he does. A smile crossed his face some, Oh Misty.
Then his thoughts broke, when he heard someone sitting next to him. Silas moved his hand that held his silver blade away, only knowing fully it was his brother. His dark blue eyes glanced to the side at him, as he greeted a cheerful good morning. At this Silas only merely muttered a morning back. For a moment, he glanced at Dare's plates of bacon and large amounts of carbs to start his day. Silas frowned watching his light haired brother dig into it as if he hasn't eaten in a week. As usual. Letting out a deep breath, Silas casually took one of the napkins he had and slowed wiped down his silver blade to get any juices off before placing it back in his wrist holster.
As Darion spoke up again, he felt the slap of Darions hand sollid with his shoulder. Silas felt just for a second the magick of the silver blade on his back hum at the vibration that came in contact with his body. Though he just shrugged at Darion. "Can't sleep." Silas said quietly frowning as one of his tomatos fell on the floor. Without having any effort yet, Silas mixed his multi colored veggies and fruits together and ate them all in one big bite. He loved the sweet juices of both the tomatos and kiwis mixed with the bannas in his mouth. in his mind, he even felt weird that he didn't even think about hunting down Misty seeing that she would be more so awake than he would during the night-only if he got himself in trouble. Again.
Soghing again, Silas finished his food in haste before pushing it aside. He shook his grapefruit juice can a few times then took one large swig finishing it wthin seconds. "I don't know Dare, I just having been in the best of moods lately. I guess I couldn't sleep this morning. Sleep just wont come for me these days." He started to tell him, glancing up at Darion. Taking a moment, he stood up, and pulled out his water that was in his pocket, opened that up and drank almost half the bottle. "Sleep just wont come." He repeated, shaking his head, placing his sunglasses back on. He felt like the sunlight was stinging his eyes more and more.
"How was your morning thus far?" He asked, turning the spotlight off of him. He had some trouble talking to Darion about the thoughts that roved in his mind. Darion knew about Silas two names, and his story background with his parents when he was younger. It just didn't make sense to him though and the fact that the thoughts were appearing thus more, made him a bit wary. Thinking about such things, would cause a blade through him faster than he would even FEEL the presence coem to him. No, that couldn't happen. He didn't want to get in THAT kind of trouble. He didn't even have the urge to find Misty. God what the hell was wrong with him? 'Snap out of it, Koios!"'
In fustration, Silas banged his fists on the table standing up, ready to just walk away. Though sitting back down, Silas just shook his head, unable to figure out what to do. Run away from Darion because he didn't know why he was so angry with the world....or just sit and be brute. He forced himself to do Option 2.
