"And here I am thinking I was the monster." Jakob spoke sarcastically, while his midnight black eyes stared onto Darion. The grip against his neck making each bone crack little by little. The witch blood making his head numb, but Jakob refused to show any sign of his drunken state. But what Jakob did catch was how Darion felt when he touched him. He watched him carefully noting how his eyes purify. But then again, when Darion demanded to know where his brother was, Jakob felt the rage build up inside of him.
"I told you Jakob, to stop playing with hunters." Spoke a voice from behind both hunters, an identical tone like Jakobs. Though the body was nowhere to be found.
"Assistance?" Jakob asked the identical voice, feeling a few more bones crack. Though the voice did not answer back. Instead the body of Benjamyn appeared just a few feet from Jakob and Darion. his gray tank top tucked in his back pocket, and yet..nothing worn but a few knife holsters on his forearms, this including that sun necklace he would usually wear. But not tonight. Benjamyns eyes were fixed upon both hunters, his eyes an identical midnight black color. The soft look dissapearing from Benjamyn...making him look completely indeitcla to his rough brother.
"Where is it?" Silas had demanded coming closer to Benjamyn who stood completely still. "Your brother goes if you don't start talking, leech. Those necklaces you two wear are ours."
"Not from what my family spoke of, Koios." Benjamyn explain simply while he stared at Darion shifting a silver blade in his hand. "Let be my drunken brother, Darion. May we speak as civil people, and not monsters of what you seek for?" He inquired, turning the blade even more slowly and gracefully. "I must say, Word spread about the Core, and interesting enough..I must ask where you have thought of a name for a building? I've kept an eye on more so you, than you have on me."

"Oh TRUST me..." Darion ground out between clenched teeth in respose to Jakob's comment. "you ARE the monster here." He was so close, SO close to the item he'd helplessly obsessed about since the time his powers revealed themselves. Desperation to complete his task only enraged him further. He pulled Jakob off the wall then slammed him back into it ruthlessly, cracking a few more bones in the process.
"Where is it, you disgusting leech?" Dare hesistated and felt the new presence a moment before the new voice appeared out of thin air.
"I told you Jakob, to stop playing with hunters." Dare lifted his head but didn't take his eyes of Jakob. Even in his drunken state, he knew better than to let his guard down.
"Assistance?" Jake choked out.
"Like it's going to either of you monsters any good." he growled still increasing the pressure around the leech's neck, and wondered how it would feel to crush his neck completely. The urge to do just that...and urge completely contradictary to his normal nature, rose within him.
"Where is it?" Silas had demanded coming closer to Benjamyn who stood completely still. "Your brother goes if you don't start talking, leech. Those necklaces you two wear are ours."
Dare was actuely aware of every single thing around him. The usless breaths the leech beneath his hands kept trying to take, the horrid smell of the NEW leech, the masked tension in his brother.
Dare smirked an almost sadistic grin, the part of his brain that KNEW this wasn't like him, wondered why he was doing this and how it was affecting Silas. Then the new Dare took over completely again.
"You've been keeping an eye on me, eh LEECH. I've been keeping an eye on you too. The Core was named before I even knew who you were, you could say it just came to me in dream." Dare's eyes stayed locked on Jake's and without realizing it, he pressed the knife harder against the cold, dead skin in his neck. "Worried for your brother, leech?" he addressed Ben. "If you want him, either hand over what I want, or you're going to have to take him from me." He finally glanced over at the other twin and his dark navy eyes burned into the dead black ones. "Do you really think you can?"

It was then that Silence began to drop what they were trying to do. Staring at his golden brother, it was like a demon was inside him...making him not the same person as he was this morning. Their task, suddenly felt uselessly, yet he still craved that necklace. It was humming beneath his ears, calling him too. His eyes has caught Benjamyns for a few seconds before returning them back to the monster that overcame Dare.
Jakob couldn't tell what hurt more, his neck where his wind pipe was starting to crack, or his spine which was giving up little by little. He could only just ignore what Darion had to say. There was no use for words, no not anymore. Though, Jakob did not still show weakness against Darion-no..he couldn't.
Slowly putting his knife away, Benjamyn turned to look at Silence, seeing the darker hunter loose what started Darion. Silence looked back at him, making the room almost silent aside from Jakobs harsh breaths. It felt like a good few minutes, then both of them nodded at the same time. Before he advanced he looked at his brothers eyes, noting how they became a paler black than usual. At the same time, Silence and Benjamyn rushed over. As he got closer, Benjamyn took a good right hook of a punch knocking it right into Darions cheek bone. At the same time, Silence grabbed him, and pulled him away from the twins.
Jakob fell against Benjamyn but didn't say a word as Benjamyn slowly lower his brother to the ground. Quickly working, cracking back his neck as well as his wind pipe back in place. Taking care to adjust his back, making sure he was at least moveable, and yet strong enough in case Darion slipped out of Silence. For that moment, Benjamyn held out his wrist, his other hand pulled Jakob close to it so he could bite down...and hopefully get some blood to sober up.
"I believe I will have to call you out that your obsession for these necklaces is worse than Jermics thirst for violence, and blood. I will not tolerate my brothers death over a few items." Benjamyn spoke, his tone even yet shaking with anger. Jakob pulled away from Benjamyns wrist and stared at his brother, yet keeping an eye on Darion who was still attacted to Silence. "Jakob, I'm not loosing you over stupid necklaces. Look at him, do you really think its worth to hang on?" Both Benjamyn and Jakob stared at Darion. "I refuse to be hunted down because of these items."
"Its been in our family for generations after generations though, Benjamyn. Mother told us, our great-great grandfather had come across of it." Jakob spoke, his voice still a little hoarse.
"Yes, but we are the ones that stole them out of house before We fled Virginia. Father saw one of us, but the rest is a blur. We made it out, and fled Virginia before we were burned." Benjamyn added, standing up and helping his brother. Moving toward the two Hunters, Benjamyn made sure he was infront of Jakob, protecting him so. He stopped just a few feet from them, "I refuse to have your golden brother return to my own impulsive brother, Koios. I do remember hearing my Mother speak of how one my greedy great-great grandfather found both necklaces at the same time. But it was when the sun was setting, and the moon was rising. He found it in a river. But It seems we have no use to them. I am going to set them down but I ask if we leave in peace, and maybe hear where my great-great- grandfather came across to items...that are yours? Something doens't make sense."
From his pocket, Benjamyn pulled out the sun necklace. He stared at the golden features it held, and how gorgeous it still seemed to be. Setting it down gently, Benjamyn picked up his head to look at Jakob. Jakob took off the chain, doing an identical move of staring at it then setting it down beside the sun. Slowly, Benjamyn putting both of the necklaces together so they were one. Standing up, Benjamyn pulled Jakob away from the necklaces, to give the hunters room. Yet, turning to the window, Benjamyn took note how the moon was starting to set, while the sun was beginning to rise.
Even Silence waited for Darion to make the move on the necklaces. Though, his dark ice blue eyes never left the moon crescent necklace..
