Battered, Beatened and Defeated. Words that ran through Silas' head as he limped, fell and limped again toward the building of Core. He wished to just turn away and fixed this on his own. Though his body told him no. Breathing shallowly, he could hear voices from behind him. But that was it. After the world turned back...and his body could only give out.
As he opened his bright blue eyes, he could feel his body being dragged while voices left and right were speaking to him. Now the pain kicked in. Shaking his head, Silas just closed his eyes until he felt himself stop. When he did, his attention was alerted. Being set down, Silas laid on his back but took in a good look around at who was with him. Relaxing on a little he saw it was only the hunters, who maybe saw him outside.
Without a word, Silas slowly started to take off his dirty and bloody trench. When he tried to stand, he paused midway when some people tried to stop him. Narrowing his eyes, Silas forced himself up, to take his heavy coat off. This showed all the bloody trails down his arms and legs. Laying down on a near by bed, He slowly took out a small, small knife that was still in his skin. His own weapon used against him. Twtiching violently, Silas dropped the knife onto the floor with a loud CLANK.
"I got it from here. Thank you." He told the others, so they could leave him. Some of the hunters left him, others continued to help. One many set food down on one side, another set a couple of blankets on the other. And some hunters began to tend to his wounds. Silas could remember doing this to others who were hurt. One man to another in need of help.
Taking a breath, Silas just stared in the darkness. The rest almost feeling to good to be true. He knew he should of came back for recovery a week ago. This was his third major mass of injuries this month. Silas had even told Darion that he would do so during his hunts if they lasted this long. Then his thought struck him. Silas knew he was a great hunter, he did not need to prove or test that ability to anyone, not even Darion. It was the adrenaline, he would always say. But this time, Silence could not think of an excuse.
Taking one last breath, Silence didn't even need to open his eyes to know what was happening. "I know, but I felt I was very close. Gerald, had managed to send his Line against me. Jason. Terence. Yevon. and Ion. I've hunted the bastard for 3 months. As well as Ion, she is quite the lady." Frowning at his sarcasm agt the end, his head turned to look over at Darion. (thought I'd welcome you in.) When he looked at him, there was a mass of claw marks down Silence's neck and chin. Then turning his head away, he waved away some people, starting to work on his marks on his arms. One man relocated his calf, Silas flinching violently at both the cracking sound and the pain.

Darion Michael Stefanko prepared himself for a night of hunting. Making sure he had plenty of silver knives on him, hidden, but within close range under his trench coat and clothes. He was glad he was sitting on his bed when a sharp white pain flashed through his head, and with it a slew of images. It only lasted a few seconds, but Darion had seen each one like he was there to experience it. He lifted his now sweat drenched brow.
"Oh Silas." he said frustrated. "What the hell have you gotten into now?" He sighed deeply knowing his mission would be delayed at least for a while. But his brothers came first. He lifted his huge 6'3 frame off the bed slowly as the residual pain began to fade. Darion turned to the full length mirror he kept in his room and carefully studied the man staring back at him. His normally tan face, was still pale and clammy, but that would clear up soon enough. The electric blue eyes were clear, which was a good sign, his body was still very toned, but it looked like he was starting to lose some weight again. He almost sighed again. Darion worked VERY hard to keep his body buff and at the healthy 240lbs that was recommended for his height. Oh well, can't do anything about it now.
Knowing trouble would be walking through the door of the Wicked End in a few minutes, Darion called out to the other permanent residents that Silence would be literally FALLING in, in a few moments and to prepare for his arrival with supplies. Those who knew him, followed his orders without question, but a newer member just stared at him like he was crazy. Hating that look in his eye, Darion snapped at him to go find the senior healers to be ready when Silas arrived. The boy wasn't much younger than himself, but was still green around the gills. After Darion's barked orders, the boy ran off to do as he bid. Shaking his head after he ran off, Darion began to head down to the front doors of Wicked End, wondering vaguely if Silas' aura would be too weak for the front doors to let him enter again. A frustrated smile crept across his handsome face. "Oh Silas, when will you learn?" he said to himself. He headed down the main stairs to the front door, not bothering to rush as the other hunters did around him. He knew Silas was in no mortal danger.
By the time Dare got outside, the other hunters were already half carrying, half dragging the limp body to Wicked End. "What the hell are you doing?!" he yelled pissed at their incompetence. "You can't DRAG him inside! You'll make it worse!" He shoved one of the smaller hunters aside with his hip and picked up the slack of Silas' body. "Hurry up, we've got to get him to the clinic!" Instead of the walking pace they were going at before, Dare forced them to half run to the building.
For this very reason the Clinic was set up in one of the first hallways off to the left. They hurried in the dark room and hoisted Silence up on the nearest examination table. Already he was trying to sit up and had pulled his trench off. Once he did, he saw a knife sticking out of his friend's body. He saw what Silence was going to do and stepped back. He did the same thing himself from time to time, but couldn't STAND watching his brother pull the silver blade out by himself.
"I got it from here. Thank you."
"Oh I don't think so my friend. Stay put." Dare said stepping back to his side and applying the slightest bit of pressure that had Silas falling flat on his back on the table. He was willing to bed Silence hadn't heard him as he had yet to acknowledge his presence. That REALLY wasn't good. "Fuck" he mumbled.
"I know, but I felt I was very close. Gerald, had managed to send his Line against me. Jason. Terence. Yevon. and Ion. I've hunted the bastard for 3 months. As well as Ion, she is quite the lady."
"Oh so you finally decided to acknowledge I'm here your highness" Dare said sarcasm dripping from every word in a friendly way. "How very nice of you." He frowned now and lowered his voice as the healers finally rushed in. "Silas, what the fuck were you thinking? We've TALKED about this before." When the oldest healer shot him a dirty look, Darion bit his lip to shut his mouth. For the first time since the lights were flicked on,which he hadn't even noticed, he took a GOOD look as his friend and his wounds and bit off another vicious oath. Angry marks marred Silence's face and chin. His stab wound was still bleeding horribly despite the healer's attention. A sharp crack had Darion putting a comforting hand on his friend's shoulder as he cried out in pain. Having something relocated was NEVER fun.
A low chanting filled the air and Darion knew the healers were finally starting to really heal his companion. Silas' aura began to change from the angry red, to a more calm blueish hue. He knew even once they had completed their task Silas wouldn't be 100% for a little while. Which was part of not having your own magic he guessed. In the past he had teased Silas relentlessly about being mortal, although there was something about him that he couldn't quite put his finger on. The same thing is what drew him to Silence in the first place all those years ago.
The sound of a throat clearing had him jerking out of his thoughts. He must have zoned out for a while. At least they hadn't touched him this time. The last time someone did that when he zoned, he had ended up here in the clinic.
"Sorry, Misty, what did you say?" The pretty blonde sighed at him and rolled her huge grey eyes. She may be half in love with Dare, but that didn't mean she didn't ever feel the need to give him a good whack over the head with a frying pan. Sometimes being a healer was REALLY annoying.
"I SAID, we've done what we can for him. He'll live and we've fixed the worst of the damage, but you'll want to keep an eye on him for a few days DESPITE what this moron may say." she said as she motioned toward Silence. "Keeping him on that spare bed in your room for a few days might be a good idea." She glared at her patient. He was just as bad as his blonde counter part. "Oh and NO HITTING" she said knowing them all too well and making Darion blush.
"Yeah, sure. whatever you say." She rolled her eyes at his words, threw up her hands and stormed out of the room.
"Well you heard the boss Silas." Darion said as he sat on the edge of the table next to his friend. "What do you think?" Then knowing he deserved it, he buried his fist in Silence's jaw.
((WHOOOO!! My first man post. Hope it's good for you! Sorry it's so long, but it just all came out! !! But TAG Silas!))

Every muscle ached. and every bone he heard rendering together made him feel sicken. He could feel his stomach cry for food, and not the food he had with him during his huntings. Real food. The food that sat next to him. His eyes managed to look up at Dare as he talked to him. In some way, he wondered when did Dare come to the rescue. Though, Silas didn't need to ask. he was always there. "I know. I know." He retorted, his voice cracking. And before he could put another word in, the healers came. Turning away from Dare he took them in, noting they did not look pleased to see him. He would not either.
Taking a deep breath, Silas' looked away from both, but to be only awaken by light that he had not seen in some time. This making him jump a little, and try to get his eyes focused on the artificial light. Then the healing began. Each part becoming a little better than the next. Wounds already healing, though the severe ones. The others he knew would have to mend on its own. The sounds of the humming and the warm serenity feel inside him sent Silas into his own zone. The pain felt it didn't matter anymore. Nor did this whole situation. It had to be the healers doing. The calmness over taking him.
As it all ended, Silas blinked a couple of times and turned to the healers, watching them carefully. "I'd break a couple more bones just to have you come back dovey." He said in a flirty tone as he winked toward the blonde. As she glared at him, he smiled up at her, and winked on of his crystal blue eyes. As she started to walk away, Silas let out a purpose heavy sigh so she could hear him.
Then his attention turned to Dare. "Yes, Yes. She was quite cute this time around I have to say." He told him sarcastically with a chuckle at the end. His eyes turned away from Dare while he began to off any holsters he could find at this moment. His two wrists for starters. Then a frown crossed his dirty face as Dare's fist went at his jaw. "Yes. I do need that time to time, brother." He told him in a low tone. Almost a whisper. His knives were thrown on his dirty trench coat one by one for later. "You know? In a way, I am quite impressed." He began, then forced himself to sit up..already pushing away Dare's hand from him.
Now in a sitting position, Silas' helped himself to a sandwich first..seeing that he hadn't eat good in weeks. "I am quite impressed." He repeated, now looking at Dare. "That after hunting Gerald for two weeks straight and ending it with a brutal beating at the end. I'm almost shocked I got it here decently. Yes I do need a punch in the jaw, Brother, but I am damn proud that I made it. " He said, while he helped himself to both a banana and tomato savoring the taste of the odd combo. "The funny thing is I really dun know what I have against Gerald so much. He isn't as bad as Jermic who does need a blade through him. He's coned a couple girls, and changed them...but really never went on a "Must kill" mode." He continued, taking some bread, apple slices, and baby carrots. "Why do you make this place so damn hot all the time? Its not cold outside." Before eating his apple slice, he pulled off his filthy shirt exposing beat marks. But to Silas he looked as though it did not bother him.

Darion shook out his fist, more out of habit than pain. "Idiot" he said affectionately. The blonde, who had heard the loud crunch of fist into face, and came in, GLARED at Darion, gave a death look at Silas for good measure, then stormed out on an angry hiss.
Dare looked down at the half dirty look that Silas was giving him.
"Yes. I do need that time to time, brother."
"You need an entire ASS whopping from time to time, and I'll be more than happy to oblige you when you're not half passed out on your back." Darion prided himself on being fair if nothing else. At least with Silence.
"You know? In a way, I am quite impressed." his friend said pushing away Dare's arm. Knowing what was coming next, Darion jumped up onto a clinic counter while Silas rummaged around in the baskets for food.
"You, my friend, are an idiot and deserve WAY more than a paltry hit in the face." Dare forced himself to stop the speach he KNEW he was about to force upon his friend. Silence was in his "after battle" mood and wouldn't hear a word he said anyway. He was too busy stuffing his face to restore his body's strength. Dare HATED the way he abused his body like that sometimes. And hated even more that Silence ate tomatoes and bananas together. God he loved his brother. Darion smilied to himself, even as Silas pondered about his hunting. "The funny thing is I really dun know what I have against Gerald so much. He isn't as bad as Jermic who does need a blade through him. He's coned a couple girls, and changed them...but really never went on a "Must kill" mode."
"I'll agree with you there. Jermic will get his and get his soon. But he has his uses" Darion said his eyes and voice hardening. "And it's not hot in here." he continued his voice and eyes going back to normal so fast, it was like there was no change at all. "It must be you. I'm still wearing my trench and I'm fine."
Darion hopped down from the counter and sat on a stool next to Silas and shoved his hand over in the basket so that he would get his share of the food. When Silence pulled up his shirt to take it off, Dare was AMAZED at ugly bruises and marks that marred his skin. He swore roughly and wasn't fooled for a SECOND at Silas' "I don't care" glance. He might other people fooled that he didn't care, but Darion KNEW better. Those marks on Silas' skin, bothered him, even if it was only slightly.
(( Ok I'm going to stop for tonight and continue when I wake up. I took ambien and it kicked in too quickly and nothing I want to do makes sense so I'm going to go sleep it off.....sorry)))

"I already has my ass whooped. And they enjoyed every second out of it." Silas spoke automatically, while his eyes darted at Dare. He could close his eyes and still hear the screaming. Frowning, Silas snorted, indeed disliking what he did. Or even the full dose of it. "I don't think I deserved the knife in the leg, or the bared chin." He answered defensively, while his fingers traced down his face little by his. He didn't think he would shave for some time, not for a bit.
Slowly sliding himself off the table, he disarmed his belt the most. When he hunted he rarely felt it. Though now it grew heavy. Holding onto his aid kit, and knives. Some knives were still hinged together, but others dissapeared out of sight. There were a couple stakes that were in the sides that thank god were not seen out of the Line. Ignoring Dare for a moment, Silas limped himself to his trench so he could set down his belt and quickly disarmed his leg holsters. The amount of knives he carried was beond him, and yet he always carried this much. He would see hunters carry four, two on their belts, one on their thigh and one on their wrist. Silas always packed like he was leaving for a vacation. Taking a breath, he also disarmed the one that was on his lower back. That one hurt the most as he laid. Now feelings bare, out of habit,Silas bent down and already felt his holster on his ankle he rarely took off. The small knife still there in one piece.
As Silas stood up, he ignored any form of pain that shot through him. "It is hot in here." Silas interjected, while he limped over to the window. He watched as the sun began to rise while he opened the window wide open. "Its always hot in here. I have to keep my Air conditioning in my room going 24/7 in my room." Silas sighed a tired sigh as he turned away from the sun starting to show.
Moving back to the basket of food, He took out a kiwi, carrot, and another sandwich that Silas didn't even know what was in it. He didn't care though. It was food, and it tasted pretty damn good. Taking out his ankle knife Silas peeled away at his kiwi first before devouring the whole thing in just a couple bites. Then cut up the carrot in slices, deciding to be better with the carrot. "I still have this instinct to just walk out and look for him." Silence told him after a long moment of deep silence. His eyes didn't look at Dare, knowing all to well he would tell him otherwise. "And you don't understand, I love being outside and you know that. I would be outside more than anyone just ot work out. Its just one of those things." After finishing his sandwich. Silas turned to look at the rest of the food, but shook his head. There was a difference between eating to survive and eating because you want too. Silas ate to survive, and would eat a little more to keep himself moving. Even out of his "after battle" mood, he would eat how he would eat now. Other hunters would shake his head ate him, but Silas wasn't picky. Food was food. And in a way, He would remind people that he never have this pleasure to eat when he wanted too. Seeing that he went form one Hunter house to another.
At the time he was zoned out, his eyes were closed and his body stayed still. his head down just a little...and his breathing began rhythmic Sleep sneaking its way into him as he stood there. It was just moments after when he heard a loud banging sound from upstairs his sleep was disturbed, waking him up with a jump. Pain creeping its way back. Looking up tiredly, he wondered if the other hunters were fighting again. Now awake, his eyes glanced down at his filthy and bloody body. Sweat somewhere in the mess of it all. "I'm going to go shower, turn the Air on in ur room and pass out for the day." He told his companion, beneath the tiredness coming, there was a hint of a smirk in his expression.
Turning to his things, he sighed pushing them under the bed he used then threw a blanket over it as if someone would steal his things. Everyone knew Silas did not like people touching his things and would beat the piss out of anyone even in his state to get his things back. Turning away form Dare, there was a limp in his walk. Couple of times, he caught himself instinctively when sleep would kick in. It was like a system for his body. When the sun came up, Silas was already making his way to his room to sleep the day away. And as the sun just went down, Silas would be up for another night. He was always like that, which made him such a good hunter...because he could go all night without a worry. He managed to limp to three beds from Dare when his body just told him no. Sighing heavily, he hit the floor, though this time he refused to get himself up. The sun flooded inside the room, glittering right on Silas body while sleep turned on. Like clockwork, he slept.

"I already has my ass whooped. And they enjoyed every second out of it."Silas spoke automatically, while his eyes darted at Dare. Frowning, Silas snorted, indeed disliking what he did. Or even the full dose of it. "I don't think I deserved the knife in the leg, or the bared chin."
"You didn't deserve it from THEM anyway. " Darion said in a slightly disgusted tone. Like Silas, he didn't always understand his need to hunt the Core household, but there was something inside him that instintually drove him on.
Dare felt a sudden burst in energy, and suddenly felt ravenously hungry. While Silas took off his battle gear, he turned his back to him and he dug into the baskets like his life depneded on it. He ignored the vegtables and fruits for the moment, in favor of more protien rich food. He growled in pleasure finding a store of his favorite sandwhich at the bottom of the basket. He tore open one of the sealed sandwhiches and took a HUGE bite, letting the taste of the thick creamy peanut butter and sweet homemade strawberry jam roll around on his tongue. He closed his eyes to savor the flavor before devouring the rest in several bites. Darion had gone through 3 more by the time Silas spoke again.
"It is hot in here."Its always hot in here. I have to keep my Air conditioning in my room going 24/7 in my room."
Still not turning around, or able to see out the window Darion spoke the obvious.
"It's not hot in here Silas. The sun is coming up. You know how we get when the sun comes up. I eat like a horse and you get hot and pass out." Almost on que, he heard his brother sigh. He laughed quietly as Silas came back to join him at the basket. Having polished off all the pb&j sandwhiches, Dare sighed, and absently started eating the baby carrots Silas' had missed.
He remainded silent as he listened intently to Silence. He was wrong, he DID understand. He just enjoyed being outside during the day, while Silas enjoyed working outside at night.. They had always been polar opposites in that regard. Darion had thrived during the day, Silas at night. Being a hunter this created obvious problems and Dare had worked long and hard to get his body to be able to be up at night to hunt the Core line. Even if he went all night without sleep, as soon as the sun began to come up, he felt full of energy, and starving hungry.
A deep breathing broke the comfortable silence and Dare smiled at his companion. Quite the OPPOSITE happened to the king of night lightlife. Silas had never quite managed to stay away after sun-up when he wasn't fighting. He thought about helping his friend upstairs, but knew it wouldn't be appriciated, so he let his friend doze sitting in his awkward angle. It only lasted a few moments however when a huge bang echoed through the quiet clinic room.
Darion gave a apologitic smile at Silas' sleepy gaze.
"I'm going to go shower, turn the Air on in ur room and pass out for the day." Darion gave a small laugh.
"Sure thing Silas." He got up and began to him from the room after his friend secured his belongings, however Silence had only limped a few beds down when he passed out and landed face first onto the pristine linoleum.
Unable to help himself Dare burst out laughing as the sunlight washed over his face from the window. He indulged and laughed until his sides hurt. When he was finally done, he walked up to his passed out brother and gently hoisted him up over his shoulder. Getting a whiff of sweat and blood, he wondered vaguely if he should hose Silas off before dumping him in his bed. Deciding against it, he walked up the grand staircase and headed down the hallway to the right to his room. After managing to get the door open, Dare carefully made his way through his crowded room and gently set down on the twin size spare bed. He pulled off Silas' mud and blood encrusted boots and set them at the foot of the bed. He didn't bother with a blanket, but walked over to the air conditioner and turned it on full blast.
Knowing Silas would be out until after sunset, Darion decided to go out. He had too much pent up energy to stay around here all day. Misty would check on him from time to time, he headed back down the grand staircase and quietly strolled out the front doors. No one would miss him, most of them slept during the day anyway. He was one of the few who ever did "daytime hunting." With a smirk, he disappeared into the shallow woods that were behind Wicked End.
**********************************************************
The sun was setting as Darion stumbled out of the same woods. This time it was he who could barely walk. It was his own fault for letting his guard down. Too tired to go around to the front, he slipped in a side door and side staircase closer to his room. As expected Silas was still passed out on his bed. A chill swept down his spine from the air that hit him from the a/c unit. He quietly crossed to the other side of the room to the bathroom so he wouldn't wake his companion. After a quick HOT shower to rejuvenate his sore muscles, he pulled on his boxers and limped to his bed and just FELL on the soft queen mattress. He had JUST closed his eyes as the sun set, and Silence moaned.
"Welcome to the land of living my brother." Dare opened one eye to look at him.

Sleep felt more than good. No. Refreshing would be the better word. Engulfed in the pitch black trace that held him. Yet time to time he would have dreams of trying to look for those who had named him in the first place. Of course, Silence stopped looking after he joined his first Hunting organization. But he could still picture himself a young boy trying to be like everyone else...and yet be hurt badly. In his dream, he was still young but a couple men had pushed him on the floor and told him to prove his strength. He could hear them laugh as they disappeared. When he sat up, he saw something glitter in the distance...
Silence let a loud moan, while his hand massaged the side of his face. Slowly getting himself up, he put both feet on the hardwood floor. His head looking right out the window, the hues and colors mixing together like a painting in the sky. "Welcome to the land of living my brother." Turning away from the window, Silence took in a huge breath, the cold air soothing him. "It is good to be back to the Land." He replied, smirking over at him. "Thank you for the air. I have that instinct to go again. I need answers, Its driving me crazy. Something is urging me back to that Line. Or maybe I have lost my mind, and I'm just trying to find a good way out." At this, he smirked at Dare.
Then away from the window, he helped himself to an old pair of Dare's jeans and a black tee shirt. Dare was close to Silence's size but with all the abuse he did to his body, he was just a couple sizes smaller than Dare. Into the bathroom, Silence turned the nozzle all the way to cold until the ice hit his wounds gingerly. Getting out, he didn't recognize himself as he stared into the mirror while he got himself dressed. All the mud, sweat and blood vanished. But left only scars throughout his body. Coming out of the bathroom, his eyes darted right at Dare first, already noticing his eyes were closed.
Chuckling, Silas put on his dirty shoes, his trench, and all of his knife gear. Then turning to Dare, Silas grabbed Dare's forearm and used his own strength to pull Dare off the bed halfway. Smirking, Silas took another heave and managed to pull the rest of him off his queen bed. "Your a hunter, You must hunt during the night. Lets go." At this, Silence took a glance at his ankle which was still hurting now and then but it was nothing to bitch and complain about. Or in Silas case that is.
Before he got a word in with Dare, Silas was out of Dare's room, running freely through the hallways. The night was already calling him, he could hear it. It made him smile that after all the healing he was back out for another round. "I promise, only sneaking!" He called back, while he turned to Dare, running backwards. When he'd get him in view, Silas turned back...heading into the darkest corridors of Wicked End. The ones he could see better in vs. the ones Dare usually took. The run felt good though. Like he was free, even though he was still suppose to rest and relax his scars and wounds..

"It is good to be back to the Land." He replied, smirking over at him. "Thank you for the air. I have that instinct to go again. I need answers, Its driving me crazy. Something is urging me back to that Line. Or maybe I have lost my mind, and I'm just trying to find a good way out." At this, he smirked at Dare
Dare closed his eyes mumbling an old rejuvenation spell. If Silas had his energy back, he was fine and he wouldn't let Dare sleep long, and so he promptly passed out. The back of his mind was always aware of his surroundings. He could hear Silence crashing around his room, and only went into his deepest sleep when he heard the shower in the bathroom turn on.
Images flashed through his mind. Members of the Core line, the twins he keeps seeing, a pendant, the sun and the moon, yin and yang. He reached out to touch it, to grab it, but no matter how close he was, it was always JUST out of reach. He didn't know WHY it was so important, but he NEEDED to have it. The Core family, grown to giant evil proportions in his dreams, knocked him down. Silas charged at them from the nearby trees. The giant vampires swarmed him, and Darion looked helplessly on, unable to move to save his friend. The twins slipped away into the darkness, sun and the moon in their hands.
Dare woke up struggling against the force pulling him out of his bed. It took him a second or two, then he was pulled to his feet his feet, but ready to strike his attacker. "GodDAMN IT Silas! You KNOW better." He swore at his friend, knowing it was useless.
"Your a hunter, You must hunt during the night. Lets go." By the time Darion had rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, Silas was already calling to him from the hallway. "I promise, only sneaking!" .
Darion crossed to the door and leaned out. "Last time you said that you almost got us BOTH killed." He shook his head at his friend and went to put on his discarded "battle gear". He heard a loud woman's voice from the hallway and chuckled to himself. He did NOT envy Silence right now, although he figured he'd be getting his own lecture soon enough.
"Where the HELL do you think YOU are going?" Misty said loudly stopping Silence dead in his tracks. He'd been so busy calling to Dare he hadn't seen her and that was what Misty had counted on. " I spent almost ALL of last night fixing your sorry ass and you're running off to fuck yourself up all OVER again?! Do you have a DEATH wish or something Silas? Next come you come in all beat to shit should I just LEAVE You be?" Her eyes were a dark stormy color and the color was up in her cheeks from anger. The dark blue of her linen shirt and light gray of her pencil skirt only enhanced these features. Her navy heels clicked the marble floor as she approached him. She got right in his face and stuck a finger in the middle of his chest. "You have a death wish, that's fine, just don't come crawling to me every time you fuck yourself up. And you!" She saw Dare coming out his room out if the corner of her eye. "Didn't I tell you to make him rest?" she said as she marched over to him. Dare leaned back as she got in his face. She may have been much shorter and weaker than him, but NOTHING scared him more than a female in full temper. And Misty was DEFINITELY in full temper. "And you haven't even slept at all and you CRAWLED in this place less than an hour ago!" She glared from one to the other. "Have BOTH of you lost your fucking minds. Neither of you are in ANY condition to go out hunting tonight. I need a fucking frying pan to knock some Goddamn sense into the pair of you!" She turned and began to walk away, Darion was inclined to let her walk away and work off her mad, she was like a sister to him. Silence however, liked her and wondered if he would stop her......

"Last time you said that you almost got us BOTH killed."
Silence turned around so he was running backward while his friend called back to him. "If your talking about Chinatown, I got wires wrapped my legs when I fell through the floor. It was a bitch when I got tangled in the wire the first place." Silence told him, then chuckled at the vivid memory before he turned around...and met the eyes of the worst demon to face right now! Misty. Right away, Silence stopped in his tracks, frozen where he stood as she glared at him.
"Where the HELL do you think YOU are going?"
Silence took a huge deep breath ready to answer her but she was not done. Oh no. There was more. Oh yes, he was going to get it. He kept his bright ocean blue eyes upon her, mentally answering her questions one by one. He knew he would get it more if he DARED to interrupt her and her scold. And yet, As she talked to him, he did a quick scan of her, noting the heels, her dress. Why she wore those things were beyond him, but it did make her look really adorable, even if she was steaming flames out of her ears, and smoke was huffing through her nostrils.
Then when she caught Dare, He couldn't help but let a small chuckle out as she found her way to Dare. It did amuse him now that he wasn't the only one in trouble here. Oh no. Silence crossed his arms over his chest, trying his best to hide his smirk form behind Misty. However, when she did look to him, it had disparted FAR to quickly. "Oh Misty, I loose my fuckin' mind every time I leave the building without you." Silence replied jokingly with a grin upon his face. "We are not hunting. We are sneaking around. I had decided to bring my right hand man with me so you know there will be some guidance somewhere and I'm not going alone." At this he nodded.
Taking a breath, he glanced from Dare to Misty just as Misty started to walk away. Silence advanced following right behind her, though his pace was a little swifter. "Hunny." He called, so she could at LEAST slow down, though he did the first thing he thought of. Grabbing her wrist, Silence planted his feet to the ground. Pulling her toward him, Silence turned her around so now she was facing him. "You were bitchin', and I couldn't find a little hole for me to speak." He teased. And without another word, He pulled her into him, and wrapped around his arms.
Pulling her around a little he kept his hands on her shoulders, but knelt his head down a little-seeing that he was taller than her, and tried to find an expression through that scary demon look of hers. "Listen, babygurl...I really can't thank you enough. You are right, I need to rest." At this, he paused to look out the window toward the night life out there. "But I just. can't. Sleep. I'm wide awake, and this energy...It takes hold sometimes." Looking back at her with his ice blue eyes, while he pinched her chin lightly. "Everything you said is true. Why help me if I keep coming back in this horrid condition. I don't know. I did sleep all day, but I just can't sleep now. I promise you babygurl, that I wont come back the same way again. Besides, I'm looking for something. I shall return before the sun rises." Pulling her close, He set a gentle and delicate kiss upon her forehead. "Stick yourself into some ice hunny, to cool yourself down." He teased as he was just passing Dare. It was like slow montion: his ice cool eyes glanced at Darion and without a word Silence picked up his pace, starting oncem ore down the hallway. This time, focused better. His own words haunting him however. 'I'm looking for something..' Silence passed a group of young hunters. "But what am I looking for? And why can't I settle down?" This thought then pressed into his skull. Only the thudding footsteps of Darion and himself hummed into rhythm, whereas their cloaks joined in. And yet, leaving behind her.

Post by Jakob & Benjamyn on Aug 12, 2008 19:49:28 GMT -5
Benjamyn could take care of himself. He was hardening after what that witch had done to him. The boy never listened to his blood. And yet, that pitiful Dustin had to scoop the witch away as well. His enemy. It was their loss. With Benjamyn's hardening, Jakob was less protective over him. No. He couldn't admit that. He was always protective over his brother. As he was when they were still living.
Stepping over over some rubble, Jakob scanned the area casually a grin crossing over his young features. He could smell the girl from here. She was getting weaker too. It was only a matter of time. As humans, Jakob could remember Benjamyn getting beat up over and over again. Some bullies egged him on, thinking maybe Jakob would merge through Benjamyn and it would be this whole twist of a fight. But it never happened that way. As identical as both of them were, Benjamyn was always to soft and to weak. While Jakob would beat the livin' piss out of someone who tried to fuck with him.
Sighing, Jakob shook his head. It amazed Jakob that there were hunters would there willing to take down Benjamyn. Thinking maybe someday he were merge into himself. Stopping now, Jakob leaned his back against a wall. This made him wonder now. If he was put ot rest, what would Benjamyn do? Get vicious and kill? Be even weaker and fall with him? Lifting up his head, Jakob could vision both. Yet, along the lines of being vicious. Benjamyn. Vicious. It was a strange sight. Yet..even terrifying for himself to think about.
Wth one last shake of his head, Jakob picked up his pace, literally dragging the witch woman out of the hiding place she was in for the time Jakob was in his thoughts. It was a good place to hide, but Jakob needed to feed, and her witch blood was calling him. Filthy race. Making it quick, Jakob snapped her neck before she had known what was coming to her. On her wrists, he carved out a Capital letter. J. As he would do to all of his victims. Benjamyn was now starting to do the same. But this was Jakob's now. Turning his head, he watched as the night was growing darker..soon another night of freedom. The adrenline was already pumping through him as he began to bite down on her artery near her thumb.
When the deed was done, Jakob left her there. The witch blood still draining out of the corpse. He had learned long ago..the more witch blood he took in, the more pain it would cause. Like a drunken man trying to get himself into a sober state. The fight between his vampiric blood and the witch blood was a war that stuck with him for weeks on end. In a way, the witch blood was also alcohol, sweet as sugar but the buzz was worth it. A great hangover in the end.
Licking the remains away off his teeth. Jakob took out the moon necklace that shimmered in the darkness as a hunters silver blade would do. The merc that traded it with him told him to never let it out of his sight. Some people grew greedy against these necklaces, and had a certain hum to them. A control that turned into harsh greed. The sun being the same. As Jakob put it back into his pocket safely he could hear that hum. But the witch blood was already kicking in...the sugar still sweet on his tongue. Oh how he wanted to finish her, but he couldn't lead to temptation.
Moving through the old school, he felt as though it was a dream. When he walked the hallways seemed forever, leading to nowhere but straight. Jakob moved, making sure to step over anything that was in his way. The humming of the necklace humming from in his pocket. This made Jakob smile. Away from Benjamyn, Jakob felt he needed this time to himself. Not because he wanted to get drunk off blood. But to escape. Escape the world he was in jsut for a few moments. Stopping now, it was when he heard bang that made everything seem out of focus. Perhaps it was his body hitting the filthy floor. It was coming from inside the building. Whatever it was, Jakob couldn't tell at this moment...until his senses would regain...

Misty was FURIOUS. Why she wasted so much time and energy and FEELINGS on these morons was BEYOND her! She healed them TIME after TIME. You'd think she'd be used to seeing them torn up to shreds. But she wasn't wasn't. Each time one of them came in, her heart jumped into her throat. Even now she knew her anger stemmed from fear, but that didn't stop her from being pissed, or her letting out on the two people who deserved it most.
"Seriously what the hell is wrong with you guys?! Didn't I tell you to make him REST?" She turned on her heels and GLARED at Darion.
The towering blonde pillar of sexiness smiled sheepishly. "Misty you know as well as I do I can't make Silas DO anything. Especially at night, when he's gotta go, he goes. nothing I say will stop that."
"Then knock him on his annoying ASS!" She snapped.
"I thought you didn't WANT me to knock him on his ass!" he countered.
"Well NOT when I JUST got done healing it but if it's going to keep him from going out and KILLING himself, PLEASE, by all means knock his nuts off for all I care!" She saw both men visibly wince and she smirked to herself. She usually prided herself on her class, but these two just got under her skin! And seeing her self get under THEIR skin made her proud. Not much got to these two. Of the two of them, Darion was a little softer, a little friendlier. Silas, was sarcastic when he wasn't in a fighting mood and she never knew when to take him seriously. He annoyed her, which is probably why she was more attracted to the Golden boy. The Dark One, was just that. Too dark.
"Oh Misty, I loose my fuckin' mind every time I leave the building without you." This was EXACTLY what she meant. She had no idea if he was serious or not. Either way, she told herself she didn't care. "We are not hunting. We are sneaking around. I had decided to bring my right hand man with me so you know there will be some guidance somewhere and I'm not going alone."
"The last time you went "sneaking around" you BOTH almost died, so I'm inclined NOT to believe you any more. EITHER of you." At this Darion looked hurt, but she ignored it.
She gave one last evil eye to Dare, then tossed her hair, glared at Silas for good measure then stormed off. The loud clicking of her heels only accenting her departure. She ignored the voice that called behind her and walked faster. She NEEDED to be alone right now. Her body jerked rather harshly when she was suddenly pulled back by her wrist. "You were bitchin', and I couldn't find a little hole for me to speak."
A retort was hot on her lips, until she was pulled into his arms, and they enclosed around her. Then the comeback, her anger, and her breath all seemed to drain from her body. Misty went rigid and perfectly still surprised at the myriad of sensations that attacked her system. Her skin was in flames wherever he touched her. She wanted to push him away but couldn't find the strength to do so. When she finally caught her breath, she could smell him.....the smell of the night.
His glacier blue eyes bored into hers as he spoke. But when he spoke about the night, and glanced out the window....she saw a longing in his eyes, a calling that she didn't quite understand. "Everything you said is true. Why help me if I keep coming back in this horrid condition. I don't know. I did sleep all day, but I just can't sleep now. I promise you babygurl, that I wont come back the same way again. Besides, I'm looking for something. I shall return before the sun rises."
When he pulled her closer, her breath caught in her throat. When his lips touched her skin, shocks of electricity shot all through her body, and she shuddered involuntarily."Stick yourself into some ice hunny, to cool yourself down."
That one sentence was more effective than any ice could have been. She took a step back and thought about just walking away to stew in her fury. But why the hell should she? He's just thrown the gauntlet down, and she'd be DAMNED if she wasn't going to pick it up. "SILAS." She called after them, making sure to keep her voice and facial features neutral.
Darion took Misty's lecture for the most part, quietly. He figured Silence would call after her....but the REST of their exchange surprised him. Not that Silas had done it....but Misty's reaction to it...and she looked about as surprised as he was to see it. But he KNEW Silas had crossed a line with that remark. He met his brother's eyes when he passed and began to follow him, but he had seen that flash in Misty's eyes and knew he was going to get it. Dare paused where he was on the stairway. Misty calmly walked down past him until she was few stairs above Silas, so it looked like she was taller than he was.
"Silence" She said calmly. There was a loud crack that echoed through the stairwell as her hand connected violently to his face. "If I want your hands on me you'll know it." She hissed so low only Darion and Silas heard her. "But if you touch me again BEFORE that, you'll regret it."
She turned around, stormed back up the stairs, and down the hallway that led to her rooms, leaving Darion and Silas standing there stunned.

From Misty to Dare, Silas listened to them go back and forth how he doesn't sleep during the night. At one point, he wanted to slip into the fun, but he couldn't figure how. Dare was right, When its night, he goes...and he doesn't stop. A flaw, that Silence couldn't control even if he tried. And he did try. Though he nuts comment, did make Silas twitch. Any man knew the pain of the tender part. Silas even saw Dare twitch at that too.
"The last time you went "sneaking around" you BOTH almost died, so I'm inclined NOT to believe you any more. EITHER of you."
This made Silas sigh some. She had to remind him too. Silas really had to find alternative words to his whereabouts for both his brother and his lady. "I know, I know." Was all he said, at first. His tone hushed. And his silence began. He just couldn't fight back with her about the topic anymore. She did win this fight, though, she always did. It was a battle Silence tended to forfeit all the time if it came down to it. For the time then, Silence would look at her and listen, or just take in what she had to said with his eyes closed.
Maybe he was making progress when he came to her, held her, and just had his body touch hers. It was a comfort he longed for her sometimes. Did she not know? Would he ever tell her? But by the way she wasn't struggling to get out of his arms, maybe this was going to go into a nice direction. Even as he kissed her, oh, he felt electricity the the touch of her soft delicate skin against her skin. There had to be a certain temperature in him that felt comfortable-no not ice cold.
And then he blew it. His mouth ran before his thoughts could register. He wished he could take every single word he had just said and take it back. The sarcasm just didn't end, and yet..he was back in the boiling water. Stepping back a bit, His head shook once, maybe twice..when his eyes open his ice blue eyes were wide and hurt himself. For a moment, he just thought to run form it. Without a second thought, Silence decided to just walk away. Inside he beat himself up. Worse state than he was in last night. He would take every single punch from those Leechs, over facing what may come next.
Starting down the stairs, Silas prayed to any God, Lord, whoever was up there that Darion was right behind him. As his name was called. His formal name, Silas stopped dead in his tracks as if the name tugged at him. He hated to know that was a female voice, not male. To know that was Misty once more, not Darion. At that moment, every single knife, he wore felt far to heavy for him to carry. It felt like it was weighing him down as he turned around to face the angry eyes of Misty. Right there, his eyes were as soft as rain. He knew he did wrong.
Without hesitation, he felt her once tender and soft skin now slap against his own. His head turned to the side a little, a redness starting to form. His breathing was deep, rhythmic, and tense. Her words felt as if fire was burning his face where the redness was starting to appear. His eyes fell, and his head started to slowly face her, but he refused to look at her now. As if he was dog, being punished. As she began to leave, Silas took a deep breath, taking one step up the stairs, but then looked toward the doors. The Night pulling him back. Silence did not want to go anymore. He wanted to do what was best. Rest, and hopefully his wounds heal. But he was restless and hurt. Exhaling some air, Silence raced down the stairs. The moment he opened the door, Silence stared directly at where the moon.

Misty stormed down the hallway, fuming. Just who did he think he was ANYWAY? How DARE he paw at her like he was some STRUMPET? Darion would never do something like that. The quick pull of "love" she expected to feel in the pit of her stomach, didn't come. She thought about how Silas had just PULLED her into his arms. This time that warm liquid feeling shot straight through her system, which pissed her off even more. A stray whisp of hair landed on her cheek, and she went to brush it away. Misty was surprised to find her cheek wet, and realized she'd been crying. Why the hell was she CRYING over that INCH worm?
Finally reaching her room, she quickly went inside and slammed the door HARD for good measure. Leaving the lights off she headed to the window, she threw them wide open and gazed out. The object of her confusion and his golden brother were just exiting the building. She could hear muffled tones comeing from them but couldn't make out what they were saying. Not like she cared ANYWAY. The idiots. Despite being pissed off at him, after pulling her hair down from its ponytail, she couldn't help herself from saying a prayer to the Goddess to protect them this night. She felt a pang of lonliness and wished he would come back. It didn't seem that either of them noticed the long silver haired blonde that watched Silas disappear into the night he loved so much.
Darion waited for the echos of her angry footsteps to fade before treading lightly down the stairs until he was even with his brother. He wondered if Silas knew how obvious his feelings were right now. THAT was interesting...and not necessarily a good thing. "That, brother, was a VERY stupid thing you just did." He placed his hand on Silence's shoulder. "Come, lets go work it off." Half dragging Silas with him down the stairs, he didn't let go until they reached the front doors. He opened them quietly and slipped out with his companion close behind. As they walked across the "front lawn" towards the forest that led to New York, he felt the presence of Misty behind them. He resisted the urge to look and acknowledge her. Knowing if he did, Silas would look as well...and that might be wise at the moment. Mentally apologizing to Misty, Darion began to focus on the auras around him as he faded into the darkness of the trees.
***********************************************************
He was close, Darion could FEEL him nearby even if he couldn't sense his aura. One of the twins. He and Silas were running through the abondoned section of New York. They followed the vampire into the abondoned School. He was careless, and let his guard down. Dare could SMELL the fresh blood of witch on him. He smirked knowing what witch blood could do to a LEECH if they weren't careful. And this one hadn't been careful. Something was calling him to this one. He still couldn't see him but felt him on the other side of a wall. Throwing his arms up over his head, Darion CHARGED at the wall busting through it and throwing Jakob against the other wall. Unphased, Darion stood over his prey and smiled the smile of the triumphunt.

Stupid. Thats all he felt. Why did he say that? She was angry with him, and he doubted he wouldn't get as close to her again like as he did before. Silence really did need to learn to keep his impulsive aditude under control. Blinking, Silas glanced as Dare already hearing his thoughts were spoken. "I really don't know what just happened, but I clearly see the outcome once again." He told Dare, shooting his ice cold eyes at him.
He could feel the tug from his brother pull him farther away. At least reality was kicking in again. His feetr followed Darion even though he could want to stop every so often. Darion would not let him until they were out the door. And once the moon caressed him, hee began to move on his own. Across the lawn, they walked but before they dissapeared into the night. Silas turned his head to the side, looking over his back just once...then broke his walk into a run once they passed those tall trees...
************************************
Silas had let Dare lead as they ran. For some time, one of the twins had let down their guard and gave both hunters a chance to follow him. Idiot. It was funny how their instincts led them straight to the twin. Questions were for later, work was now. Into the abandon building, Silas kept following Dare who was almost like a bloodhound on a scent. This got Silas even more excited to go back into the hunting. Though Silas had paused for some time as he watched his brother bust through a wall, and a body hit from the other side. Casually, Silas passed Darion to exam the vampire from the other side.
Jakob had slammed into the wall, his bones cracking some in his arms. Jakob was not careful for not scenting this out. He had hit the ground some, not only from the dizziness the blood gave him but the actual impact. It felt like the world would just crash down on him right now. Taking in a breath forgetting he didn't need to breath-Jakob sat up, slowly relocating his shoulder blade back into place. He heard footsteps around him, he didn't to be fully functional to know he was in trouble. .Now his scents keyed in quickly.
Silas, grabbed Jakob back the scruff of his neck and sent him against the wall. Automaticly, Jakob bared his fangs with a loud snake like hiss, remians of the blood were still all over his teeth, and mouth. Silas exhaled taking in the smell of the blood. But then, his eyes glanced around, holding Jakob tightly against the wall, noting Benjamyn was not around. He was alone? "Where is your brother, Jake?" Silas asked, as he turned back to the angry vampire.
"Who knows? He can take care of himself. Since that witch turned to Dustin, He's been doing a fine job walking on his own." Jakob turned his eyes to look from Silas to Darion. "Well I give you bravo from appearing in this time. Isn't it passed your bedtime Stefanko?" He taunted, ending his words with a smirk.
(eh. Short...but yay!)

His blood pounded through his veins, shooting adrenaline shooting through his system. His harsh deep breaths were the only sound he made as he stood smirking, over the leech. Knowing he needed to take a step back emotionally Dare let Silas take over, but couldn't help but be very VERY amused watching the leech slam back first into the concrete wall. Silas glanced around, but Dare knew who he was looking for wasn't there without checking. He could FEEL these leeches ..for whatever reason, and he used it to his best advantage whever he could.
"Where is your brother, Jake?" Silence demanded.
"Who knows? He can take care of himself. Since that witch turned to Dustin, He's been doing a fine job walking on his own." It seemed a casual enough response but it spoke VOLUMES to Darion. The twins seemed to be divided at least in a small way...and a small way was better than none. He could sense that BOTH of the twins were distracted....now would be the time to make their move against the twins.
Something deep, and primal reached up and took hold of Darion, the softer, rational, more compassionate side of him disappeared, and his eyes turned a dark steely Navy blue.
"Well I give you bravo from appearing in this time. Isn't it passed your bedtime Stefanko?"
Dare stepped forward grabbing the blood sucking leech by his neck, shoved Silas away and slowly began crushing it beneath his hands. And he secretly savored every single crack of bone.
The second his hands touched the repulsive thing's skin, Visions of half of the amulet he'd been dreaming about since before he could remember, over whelmed his senses. It was over as quickly as it had begun, but again each and every image had been perfectly clear as if he were right there with it. He could hear and smell, even feel his surroundings in the visions, but he couldn't see where he was. He could only see his half of the amulet. As soon as the vision vanished, unbearable pain punched through his system, more potent than a gunshot wound to his brain. He instantly paled and became, clammy but he had the leech in his grasp and that made him strong.
"I can sleep when you're dead." He squeezed harder on his neck, to hide his condition in additition to proving his point. "Completely dead. Now we'll ask you again. Where is your leech brother. I know just because you're not with him doesn't mean you don't know."
Dare slipped a silver knife free from his hiding place near his wrist with his free hand, and pressed it to the lifeless vampires dusty dry jugular. He lowered his voice to a growl.
"HE has something that belongs to me, and YOU have something that belongs to Silas. And we want them NOW. We've waited long enough." he straightened and said in a normal voice. "Haven't we Silas?"
(( Ok, sorry so short. I didn't know what else to do.))
