Dumerie (Dewmeria)- “People of the Gathering Dew”
Dumerie are plants that have ‘evolved’, so to speak, to look almost human-like. Their culture attributes this to a legend they have of a tree coming to the aid of an ancient and long forgotten goddess. Being unable to restore the tree back to its original beauty, the goddess instead gave it, and those of its type, form.
Dumerie appear so human that they are often mistaken as such…much to the dismay of a vampire or lycan. The only thing that sets a Dumerie visually apart from humans is a dark green patch somewhere on their body. Often times, depending on the local season, the patch can change from green to a warm gold, a cool red, a brilliant yellow, or even a somber orange.
It should be noted that Dumerie are immune to the ‘Change’ whether it be from a vampire, a lycan, or even a Deamon. Another interesting fact is their power of regeneration. This can take time however, depending on the type of wound. They can also possess some of the same powers that manifest in humans (such as seers, witchs, healers
Generally, Dumerie are peaceful, even to the point that they accept telepaths and psychokinetics living among them without fear of their neighbors or their powers.

Dragons – A Nocturnal Creature. Dragons were a creature of myth huge flying strong beast that guarded treasure. In this case they are more like shape shifting demons. A dragon primarily goes around in human form. They have the ability to sprout different parts of their dragon form at will; for example claws and wings. It is very rare for a dragon to be able to fully transform since over time the ability has weakened. However fully transformed dragons come in many shapes and sizes, including tiny. Dragons normally eat raw animals but have been known to eat more human like creatures if they acquire the taste.
Appearance Dragons in Human form tend to have some basic characteristics: +Cold (hard to pierce) skin. +Unusual eye colours, generally larger more lizard looking eyes. +Sharp predator like teeth. +Long slender hands, claw like. Most people find that in the company of a dragon they feel ill at ease, just from appearance, like there is something unnatural about them. The full dragon form of a dragon varies greatly and is generally something passed on through genes.
Powers +The ability to transform certain parts of their body by will. For example spout wings, claws, teeth, dragon eyes. +Stronger senses to that of a human. Sight, Smell and Hearing especially. +The rare ability to fully transform into a dragon: Apparently very painful. +Hard to injure and a higher healing rate, although not immediate healing.
Weaknesses +Very few dragons can still fully transform into their strongest form. +Healing is incredibly painful to a dragon, more so than the wound. +The original dragons were bound by magic to masters; although they overcome this by passing master-ship onto themselves it does make them a slight slave to their own will. Plus people sharing the blood of a past master has some level of control. +Magic is highly intoxicating to a dragon, they do not trust it and do not like the type of sense reaction it gives out.
