As they appeared in front of IHOP, Dusty and Winter stared at Dee. "It's a good thing I know you're joking, a ghrá mo chroí, or I would think you'd lost your mind." He commented dryly. "Actually, I have the perfect place in mind..." Dusty said thoughtfully, then grabbed ahold of both of their hands with a smile. In the blink of an eye, they were standing in front of an Olive Garden in Oregon. ((sorry, had to have them visit me. )) "Will this do?" He asked, smiling at his two favorite people. He gave Dee a loving kiss and smiled at her adoringly. And tomorrow night you and I can go out and have a nice, romantic dinner without the other half of my brain around." He promised, squeezing her hand gently and sending Winny a shot of teasing thought. Winter rolled her eyes and aimed a playful smack to the side of fer brother's head. "Twit." She said with a laugh, then turned to the resteraunt. "This is great! Lasagna, here I come!" She said happily.Dusty smiled and held out his arm for his future wife. "Shall we?" He asked.

Laughing, Dee took her beloved's arm and entered the Italian looking villa with Winny on her other arm.
*Several hours later* More than a little tipsy, the three of them tumbled out of the restaurant the way they went in. Laughing and linking arms.
Feeling pleasantly dizzy, Dee unhooked her arm from Winnys and wrapped her arms around Dusty. She soaked in how good it felt to be with him. Trying not to dwell on the past, and failing miserably she began to think about how empty she felt when he had left. And how much worse it was when SHE left for California with Jenny. The vague memories brought back her pain in addition to the pain she had taken way from Jenny. She automatically tighted her grip on Dusty and tried to push the all to vivid feelings from her mind. She stood on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to his. "I love you, but we need to find a place to crash. I'm getting sleepy."

Dusty hugged Dee tightly as he felt her grip tighten. He could tell from the pained expression that flitted across her face that her mind was going back to unpleasant things. He sent her a wave of loving reassurance and smiled down at her before returning her kiss. "Indeed." He agreed, relishing the feel of her in his arms. "How does our house sound to you? Or are you afraid for your honour?" He teased, kissing her forehead and smiling down at her. Winter snorted. "You even think of trying anything, and I'll beat you senseless." She joked, knowing full well that her brother would never do anything of the sort. "Anyway... You two sort out where you'll be going for the night... I'm going home to bed. Night." She said, stretching and yawning as she teleported herself home.((Blah... Sucked... But there it is. )

((Keep in mind that their house is kind of YOUR territory. Since I have no idea what you had in mind for the family estate...so yeah. This is going to suck.))
Her head still spinning pleasantly, Dee laughed at Dusty's comment about her honor and wondered if she ever told him her big secret. Which actually probably not so big, but considering they'd been apart for almost three non-consecutive years, you never knew.
She laughed harder as Winny threatened his well-being. She loved having a sister. Growing up she had always wished for one, but hadn't gotten any siblings at all. Not for the first time Dee wondered if she HAD had any siblings if they would have had her gifts as well. She sighed and guessed she'd never know.
A lightning flash above her brought her back to the present. It was then she realized that Dusty had been talking to her and she vaguely heard what he said. he wanted to take her home? That was fine with her.
"Dusty. I'll go anywhere you want me to go. But don't leave me tonight, I don't want to be alone. I want to fall asleep with you holding me. OK?" She kissed him long and deep, sighed happily, closed her eyes and leaned trustingly against him so he could take her to their home.

Dusty smiled adoringly at Dee as she answered. He could tell her thoughts weren't entirely on the conversation, but that was ok. He wasn't entirely focused on the here and now himself. After all, he hadn't had the foggiest notion when he was sitting in Dukes earlier that night that he would be with her right now... Or that they would be engaged. It was like his heart had sprouted wings after being weighted down for the past year. He could hardly remember the last time he had been so happy. All he could remember was that it had been because of her then, too.
"That, love of my heart, sounds like a wonderful idea." He told her as they pulled out of the kiss, kissing the tip of her nose playfully. "I wouldn't leave you for the world." He added gently, smiling happily. Smiling happily, he held her close. In an instant, they were standing in the middle of the livingroom of the apartment he shared with Winter in NYC. "Home, sweet home." He said softly, gazing down at Dee rather than the room around them.
The twins had moved since Dee had last been in New York. Dusty couldn't bear the thought of living in the apartment he'd been in the last time he'd seen her, and, on top of that, thier old apartment had ended up being overrun with cockroaches. Not something that either of them really cared to live with. So now they lived in a slightly more luxurious apartment in town. It was roomier and gave the twins plenty of space so that they would be able to go about thier own business without disturbing eachother.
The livingroom was set up with a couch and a love seat, both of which were upholstered in black leather (They were, however, covered in somewhat faded blankets because neither of the twins could stand the utilitarian look the deep black gave thier home.); a few chairs in varying styel and colour; a glass-top mahogony coffee table, which had random books and things piled all over it at the moment; a little-used large-screen television set; a sound system; and a persian rug. Under the rug was a posh carpet of deep blue. The livingroom gave off a rather homey feel, though one could feel a sense of disuse underneath, as the twins did not spend much of thier time in the apartment.
Through an archway opposite the front door, one could see the diningroom, which connected directly to a kitchen with black-tiled counters and a sleek silver fridge. Near the archway, a hallway led off to the left, which led the way towards the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The master bathroom was at the end of the hall, and it contained a large bathtub and shower along with the usual toilet facilities. Connected to Dusty's room was a half-bath.
Dusty smiled at Dee. "So... What do you think?" He asked, gesturing with one hand at thier surroundings. Things were a little more luxurious than he would usually like, but it served thier purpose and the diningroom could easily be set up for a practicing room. He was a little worried that Adelia might think it was a bit over the top, considering that he had never been one to indulge in such excess in the entire time they'd known eachother. He also hoped that she would be comfortable here, as it was likely that this would be where they would be living together. At least for awhile.
((Gha... Crap ending...))
